An Assistant Accountant is needed to support the Financial Controller in the FMCG industry. The role requires a meticulous individual who will contribute to the financial and operational efficiency of the Accounting & Finance Department.

Description

• Support the Financial Controller in day-to-day operations.
• Prepare financial documents including invoices, bills and accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Help in processing payroll for employees in the organisation.
• Provide customer service regarding financial issues.

Profile

A successful 'Assistant Accountant' should have:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent mathematical skills and an understanding of data privacy standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
