Key duties of the role will include:
- Processing accounts payable and receivable invoices
- Reconciling customer and supplier accounts
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Contacting customers to ensure timely payments for invoices
- Posting journals
- Accruals & prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with audit queries
Skills and experience required includes:
- Someone actively studying AAT qualifications
- Sound foundation of accounting knowledge such as debits & credits
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player
- Some prior experience of working within an accounting role
- Intermediate excel skills
