Assembly Technician
Job: Assembler
Location: Cambridge
Hourly rate: From £15/hr PAYE
We are working with an exciting medical device company that is going through a strong period of growth and are therefore seeking several Electro-Mechanical assemblers to join their team on a contract basis.
You will be required to assemble small medical devices and prepared to offer input on different ways to make the work more efficient whilst inspecting the devices and ensuring that they adhere to industry standards.
To be considered for this role you will have good Electro-Mechanical assembly experience from a regulated industry and will be comfortable working with engineering drawings.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Assemble complex Electro-Mechanical systems
- Read from 2D Engineering drawings and diagrams
- Inspect the quality to industry standards
- Willing to do repetitive assembly work on a daily basis
- Work with the quality control team to implement continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience of working in an Electro-Mechanical manufacturing environment
- HND or equivalent experience in Electrical or Mechanical discipline
