Assembly Technician

We are seeking skilled Assembly technicians for one our clients based in Bedford, coming into the summer they are ramping up their operations and would be looking for new staff on a temporary to permanent basis.

£11.50 - £13.50 depending on skills and the details of your role.

Responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the production Team Leader, your main duties involve mechanically assembling various enclosures and sub-assemblies.
• You will be fixing a vast range of mechanical components such as transformers as well as carrying out basic wiring of electrical inverters and other forms of power supplies.
• You will also be working with mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

For this role it is important that you have relevant experience working in an electrical or mechanical background, it is beneficial if you have experience in drilling and tapping steel or working with aluminum sheet metals and are able to rework components as required.
