Our client is a leading global technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food processing and air transportation industries.
They have offices in more than 25 plus countries all over the world and are growing both organically and by acquisitions and are continuously looking for new employees to join their team.
They currently have great opportunities for an Assembly Fitters to join their team at their south Manchester location.

Having been established for 25 years, demand for their products is growing and they are responsible for developing many plastic-based alternatives for preserving the life of and carrying food safely.
Formed in 1998, Not only have they become the leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery and tooling in the UK but are now also recognised as a major force internationally with manufacturing facilities throughout the world.
Shift Pattern: working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 16.30hrs, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15 minutes per day. A total of 40 hours per week. With overtime readily available
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
* Ensure machinery is fully PDI'd and tested prior to delivery.
* Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
* Being self-disciplined, proactive, and hard working.
* High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills.
* Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
* Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
* Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons.
* On-site commissioning and customer training.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
* Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits.
* Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate.
* Can carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of Proseal equipment.
* General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
* Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed. Qualification:
