Are you an experienced Team Leader with a background in Manufacturing and Engineering? Do you have experience and knowledge with mechanical and hydraulic assembly? If so, this Assembly Team Leader position is perfect for you!

This Assembly Team Leader position is working for a well-established manufacturer in Havant. The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm. The role is paying up to £31,000, depending on experience.

This Assembly Team Leader position comes with a range of different responsibilities. Based in the Machine Shop, the successful candidate will be required to lead a team of Assembly Operators, ensuring that processes are followed, and that work is carried out to the correct quality and expectations. The role will also involve liaising with different departments to ensure close cooperation and a smooth workflow. It is also important to ensure that all QHSE policies are adhered to by both the successful candidate and team. Their will also be the need to obtain product parts, required materials and tools, and to set up the bench for testing and assembly. It is also important to have a shared focus with the company on continuous improvement to encourage innovation. It is also important within this role to ensure that stock levels are accurate, relevant documentation is completed, and that the team has adequate training and coaching.

You will need:

  • Experience in a Team Lead position within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience with Hydraulic and Mechanical Assembly
  • Experience with planning and setting KPIs
  • Experience liaising with Customers to ensure needs are met and requirements are understood
  • To be motivated and proactive
  • Excellent communication
  • Great Teamwork skills
