Assembly Operative

An established Engineering and Electronics manufacturing company near Lewes are looking for an Assembly Operative to join them. This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours a week 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Job duties:

• Using attention to detail to assemble and build signs
• Following relevant production procedures, standards and reading engineering documentation
• Using hand tools including crimp tools, wire strippers, powered screwdrivers
• Hand soldering, cable preparation and crimping
• Occasionally inspecting or testing products

Skills and experience required:

• Strong attention to detail
• Willing to learn and progress in a manufacturing and production environment
• An interest in technical, electronics, electrical or similar manufacturing sectors is preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing or a warehouse environment would be beneficial but not essential as full training is offered
• Own transport is essential due to location
