Assembly Operative

My client a well established engineering company based in Blackburn is seeking a skilled Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products using hand and power tools. This is a warehouse-based position that requires mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting on assembly of mechanical parts using hand tools and nut and bolt fixings.
• Sorting of small deliveries into stock
• Assisting with large deliveries
• Arranging of stock area
• Organizing parts for assembly procedure
• General housekeeping

Experience:

• Previous experience in assembly or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
