Job title: Assembly Operative

Location: Margate, Kent

Pay rate: £11.50 per hour

Contract: Temporary 3 month contract, with the potential for either extension or to be considered taken on permanently

Hours: 8:00am - 5.30 Monday - Thursday / 8:00am - 12:00pm Friday

Our client, who are a manufacturer in Margate, who have brand new and modern premises, is seeking an individual to work in the Assembly Department.

• Assemble marine safety equipment following precise assembly instructions and safety guidelines.
• Perform quality control checks during assembly to ensure the equipment meets industry standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production quotas and deadlines.
• Identify and report any defects or issues in the assembly or testing process.
• Assist in the packing area when required.

Do you have the relevant experience…

• Previous assembly or production experience required.
• An interest in building things in your own time?
• Soldering experience preferred.
