T&K Associates are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join our Client on a temporary to permanent basis in Shepshed.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small friendly team who really care about their employees.

Assembly Operative Job Details;

  • £11.50 per hour to start with the opportunity of an increase after a successful probationary period is passed
  • Paid overtime available once trained at a premium rate of £17.25 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • Company pension scheme
  • 21 days holiday + bank holiday when permanent
  • Free tea / coffee
  • Uniform provided when permanent
  • Temporary to Permanent
  • Free parking & Canteen facility on site

Assembly Operative Role & Responsibilities include;

  • Assembly of electrical motors
  • Installation of insulation & copper coils
  • Assisting in the test bay
  • Packing products and working in the goods out department
  • Use of various hand tools
  • Coil winding
  • All other associated tasks as required

Person Specification;

  • Previous electrical / assembly experience is preferred
  • Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product
  • A good team player
  • Strong attention to detail
