Role - Assembly Operative

Location - Thame, Oxfordshire

Contract - Full time, Permanent

Salary - £20,000 - £23,000 per annum

Main duties of Assembly Operative -

• Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications
• Learn and apply assembly instructions and production orders under the guidance of experienced technicians
• Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure compliance with specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements
• Identify product defects and implement corrective actions
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with the team to meet production goals

Key Essentials of Assembly Operative -

• Prior experience in cable assembly is essential, particularly with fibre optic cables
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow complex instructions and work independently
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• An eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges
