Assembly Fitter

An Assembly Fitter is required for a manufacturing business in Wolverhampton. The hiring manager is looking for someone who has previous experience working from engineering drawings and schematics, as well as experience with pneumatics and/or hydraulics. In return for your experience, this Assembly Fitter role offers an attractive annual salary up to £28,000 per annum and benefits package.

Previous experience working on commercial vehicles, cars, motorbikes, or HGVs would be highly advantageous but is not essential.

As an Assembly Fitter, you will work day shifts Monday to Thursday, early finish Friday (39 hours per week). The hiring manager would prefer for you to have your own tools, but any additional tools required to carry out the work will be provided on site.

As an Assembly Fitter, you will be required to address these tasks:

• Assembling waste handling machinery
• Using various hand and power tools, including torque wrenches, spanners and ratchets
• Reading and understanding engineer drawings
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
