Assembler - Wickford

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Wickford

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:20 pm

Pay Rate: £12 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components accurately and efficiently to meet production targets.
• Follow assembly instructions and specifications to ensure quality standards are met.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
• Report any issues or concerns with equipment or materials to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and machinery.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds if required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
