I am currently working with a innovative, and industry leading biotechnology company, based in Oxford, in a brand new, state-of-the-art laboratory. This client are looking to take on a permanent Senior Scientist, to join their expert team, helping to lead the next stage of a business critical development in the lab.

This is an ideal position for an experienced scientist who wants to take on more responsibility, and want to work closely with a tight knit team, to deliver a potentially revolutionary product. The role pays exceptionally well, and comes with some fantastic benefits including free medical insurance and stock options. You will be working with exceptionally strong scientists, under an impressive and accomplished C-suite.

To be suitable for the role, you will need to show demonstrable experience of assay development, with knowledge of immunoassay or ligand binding assays, in particular ELISA's. You will have some experience of biomarkers, whether this is in a practical or theoretical sense. You will preferably have a PhD, as well as knowledge of aptamers and biosensor technology, although this is not essential for the role, if the required experience is there. Ideally, you would be able to confidently understand biomarkers, and be able to apply statistical analysis and data interpretation in this regard, but again, this is not essential.

If you think you have the required skills to be considered for the role, please apply now. Please note, you will need ongoing eligibility to work in the UK to be considered for this role, and you will need at least 2 years industrial experience.

If this role is not suitable for you, but it matches a friend or colleagues skill set, please do let them know about the role.
