Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary / Benefits £25k - £40k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a reputable Asbestos Consultancy who are dedicated to providing high quality asbestos management services. They are now seeing to take on an Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts across Essex / Kent / London. You will be working in line HSG 264 guidelines, carrying out the full range of surveying duties to Local Authority, Healthcare, Educational, Leisure, and Social Housing sites. Due to the nature of the role, our client would give consideration to candidates who hold a combination of the BOHS P402, P403, P404 qualifications. Our client can offer a company van (with personal use), company pensions scheme , company credit card, regular overtime with competitive overtime rates and excellent holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Basildon, Brentwood, Southend-on-Sea, Cheshunt, Harlow, Maldon, Saffron Walden, Canvey Island, Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester, Braintree, Gravesend, Dartford, Canterbury, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Royal Tonbridge Wells, Croydon, Epsom, Bromley, Orpington.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 is essential to the role.
" Holding the BOHS P403, P404 would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
" Will have a strong background working within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Familiar using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Will have excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.

The Role:
" Undertaking management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs.
" Ensuring to bag and label suspected ACM samples correctly prior to sending to the laboratory for analysis.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports for clients based on site findings.
If BOHS P403 / P404 is held, you will have experience carrying out:
" 4 Stage clearances.
" Leak, smoke, background, re-occupation, and personal ait resting.
" Visual re-inspections upon completion of work.
" Carrying out site audits in line with company needs.
