Position: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Essex, Southeast
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (Negotiable Benefits)
My client has been operating as a leading authority in asbestos removal and management for the best part of 40 years. Their nationwide services cater to a diverse clientele, spanning from residential projects with Norfolk Housing Association to large-scale commercial endeavours in London. They prioritize safety and efficiency across all sectors.
Essential Requirements:
- BOHS P402 certification with a minimum of 12 months field experience
- Experience in domestic sector projects
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility for commuting and completing out-of-hours/weekend work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
As an asbestos surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys across various property types (domestic, commercial, and industrial)
- Compiling comprehensive reports for clients
- Ensuring all work adheres to UKAS standards and HSG:264 guidelines
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Providing technical support and addressing queries
