Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Glasgow, Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £36k + Training + Benefits
Our client is an established, multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy who specialise in providing asbestos management services across Commercial, Industrial , Social Housing and Healthcare sites. They are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts across the Central Belt of Scotland. You will be working alongside their established team of surveyors, carrying out surveys in line with HSG 264 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into various environmental sectors, company vehicle, company pension and excellent holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hamilton, Cumbernauld, Coatbridge, East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Paisley, Penicuik, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, Falkirk, Stirling, Kincardine.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 is essential to the role.
" Will have a strong background within the Asbestos industry, working hands on as a surveyor.
" Fully conversant with relevant HSG 264 guidelines.
" IT literate, confident in using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Excellent time management and communication skills.
The Role:
" Working on a varied range of sites, carrying out refurbishment, demolition, and management surveys.
" Conducting re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Correctly bagging and labelling suspected ACMs prior to sending for analysis.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Gathering information from site and using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports.
" Liasing with clients, providing support and consultancy advice.
