My client was among the pioneers accredited by UKAS, an early member of ARCA, the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association, and a founding member of ATaC. While primarily family-owned, the company has expanded over the years, incorporating additional expertise in commercial and financial management.
Essential requirements:
- BOHS P402 certification with a minimum of 12 months field experience
- Experience of working on projects in the domestic sectors
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility to commute and complete out of hours/weekend work
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
As an asbestos surveyor you will be involved in:
- Conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of properties in the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Compiling comprehensive reports to be sent to clients
- Ensuring all work carried out is to UKAS standards and in line with HSG:264
- Building and maintain strong client relationships
- Assisting with any queries and provide technical support
