Salary: £35,287 to £37,880 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Wolverhampton - Office based and out in the community (must have full driving license)

Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Contracts and Compliance team and are looking to recruit an Asbestos Safety Advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Asbestos Safety Compliance Officer in ensuring we comply with all applicable legislation, including Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
• Maintain and update the Asbestos register.
• Support the Asbestos Safety Compliance Officer by undertaking regular site audits of contractors including surveyors analysts, and removal contractors.
• Help delivery against the actions and priorities within the Asbestos Management Plan.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships internally and with a range of partners by liaising with relevant teams, key stakeholders, and regulators through the management of our asbestos management plan.

About you:

• Do you have experience of working in the asbestos industry?
• Have you gained recognised asbestos qualifications?
• Can you demonstrate strong motivational, planning, and organisational skills?
