Job Title: Asbestos Project Manager
Location: Glasgow, Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £30k - £45k + Benefits.

Our client is an industry leading multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy who hold a national presence. They are now seeking to recruit a business focused and diligent Asbestos Project Manager. You will be responsible for managing Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Retail, Social Housing and Healthcare sites across the Scotland region. This role would suit someone who has extensive experience in managing a varied portfolio of sites, and will have excellent customer facing skills, able to provide clients with consultancy advice and support. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors, company pension scheme, bonus scheme and a competitive salary.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hamilton, East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Paisley, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Stirling, Edinburgh, Penicuik, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have a proven track record working within the asbestos industry working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy and will hold excellent technical and managerial skills.
" Will hold a combination of the BOHS P402, P403, P404, P405 (or RSPH) qualification.
" Holding the CoCA qualification would be advantageous.
" Well versed in relevant Health and Safety legislations.
" Confident in using industry relevant databases (TEAMS / TRACKER)
" Able to communicate and manage workload efficiently.

The Role:
" Managing and maintaining contracts across Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Retail, Social Housing and Healthcare sites.
" Writing detailed asbestos abatement specifications.
" Providing clients with quotations for work to be carried out.
" Continuing to develop an in-depth knowledge of client portfolio.
" Producing site specific RAMS.
" Visiting site, ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant HSG guidelines.
" Getting involved in training new employees.
" Carrying out site audits, ensuring to report any analytical findings.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and technical support.
" Efficiently liaising with other departments within the business.
