Job Title: Asbestos Deputy Technical Manager.
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £25k - £45k + Benefits
We have an opportunity for an Asbestos Deputy Technical Manager to join a leading Asbestos Constancy based in the Essex area. This role would suit an experienced surveyor, with a sound knowledge of HSG 264 and asbestos surveying, who is looking to take a step back from site work and progress into a technical management role. You will be overseeing a team of office staff, alongside using your technical knowledge and site experience to carry out lab and site audits, to ensure work is carried out to UKAS standard. Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working on site as an asbestos surveyor, for an established UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Will hold the BOHS P402, S301 or RSPH equivalent.
" Excellent IT skills, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Will have excellent communication skills.
" Able to organise work load in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
" Efficiently managing a team of office staff.
" Visiting sites / laboratory and conducting audits.
" Carrying out internal and external audits.
" Attending client meetings when required, professionally representing the company.
" Producing competitive tenders and quotes.
" Providing support to the company's technical managers.
" Assisting with UKAS audits.
" Ensuring compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation.
" Ensuring that internal systems are up to date and accurate.
