Be flexible and adaptable, to ensure they tailor their teaching style and respond effectively to a range of student behaviours. Communicate effectively to build a cohesive relationship with other teachers and ensure a trusting and insightful relationship with students. Emotional intelligence is vital to interactions in education! Be calm, patient and understanding; classrooms can be overwhelming environments and it is vital to be able to take a deep breath and accurately gauge the most effective and appropriate response, both managing tempers and diffusing situations

The Role

• Supporting students with their work

• Board range of knowledge across a number of different disciplines including 3D sculpture, ceramics, drawing, painting, printing and photography

• Maintaining and ordering equipment and materials

• Collaboratin with art teachers and other department members
