Go above and beyond to ensure every student is actively involved in the learning process and benefits from the knowledge and skills you have to offer. Bring your subject to life! Be flexible and adaptable, to ensure they tailor their teaching style and respond effectively to a range of student behaviours. Communicate effectively to build a cohesive relationship with other teachers and ensure a trusting and insightful relationship with students. Emotional intelligence is vital to interactions in education! Be calm, patient and understanding; classrooms can be overwhelming environments and it is vital to be able to take a deep breath and accurately gauge the most effective and appropriate response, both managing tempers and diffusing situations
The Role

Supporting students with their work

Board range of knowledge across a number of different disciplines including 3D sculpture, ceramics, drawing, painting, printing and photography

Maintaining and ordering equipment and materials

Collaboratin with art teachers and other department members
Working with Long-term Teachers
