Your new school
We are working with an outstanding school who are looking to recruit an art teacher on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave. This is a school where the results of its pupils are high. The staff here are all entirely dedicated to the progression of their school and its pupils.
Your new role
You will be taking KS3 and KS4 Art classes, with a little KS5 as and when required. You will be allocated sufficient PPA time as per their permanent staff members, and you will be expected to take on the full teaching role. This school has a fantastic art department, where the team have years of knowledge and experience in this subject. Therefore, this maternity position would be suitable for both experienced teachers and newly qualified due to the support that is on offer should this be required. This role will begin from September 2024 and will run for the full academic year until August 2025.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need to hold QTS in the UK. Either an Art or Design Technology specialism is essential.
