Temporary Position (covering until Easter)
Location: Slough
Salary: Competitive (MPS/UPS)



We are excited to offer a temporary opportunity for a passionate Art Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Slough. This role is perfect for an individual who is dedicated to nurturing creativity and inspiring young minds through art. The position is available immediately and will cover until Easter, providing an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on our students’ artistic development.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression through a diverse range of artistic mediums.
  • Support students in developing their technical skills, artistic vision, and an appreciation for art history.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular art clubs, exhibitions, and events, enhancing the cultural life of the school.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching art at the secondary level.
  • A strong passion for art and education, with a commitment to inspiring students.
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective art lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
