Are you an Art Teacher currently looking for your next role? 

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and expressive Art Teacher to fulfil a permanent, full time role within a large Secondary School based in Farnborough.

As the Art Teacher, you will be responsible to deliver excellent content to your assigned classes and be an excellent addition to the Art Department. You will work with the Head of Department to ensure curriculum and lesson plans are delivered to a high standard, and that all pupils are on track for their ability and attainment. You will be responsible for teaching pupils of Year 7-11, and assisting with the examination period of the pupils.

For this role, you will be/will need:

- Qualified Teacher Status (or recognised Teaching Degree) with Specialism

- Thorough knowledge of the GCSE subject curriculum

- Good Level of ICT literacy

- Be able to demonstrate a positive and authoritative rapport with pupils

- Excellent and effective classroom management skills

- Organised and self-motivated, with a proven record for meeting targets and deadlines

The salary for this role is currently ECT/MPS/UPS and is set to start September 2024. ECT's are welcome to apply.
