One of the UK's leading Social Housing Providers require an Area Surveyor / Building Surveyor to provide excellent customer service to residents and customers in a varied and interesting portfolio of domestic properties in Oxfordshire.

To apply for the role of Area Surveyor in Oxfordshire you should have very strong contractor management and clienting skills, plus good people skills to deal with customers in an empathetic and courteous manner in order to deliver a first class service for residents.

The primary duties of the Area Surveyor in Oxfordshire include:

  • To provide a comprehensive Surveying service including diagnosis, specification and management of works including pre and post inspections.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills to enhance the clients reputation and deliver a first class service.
  • Acting as the client when managing the repairs contractor, ensuring a high level in delivery of works whilst monitoring their performance.
  • Liaising with customers and residents to keep them abreast and updated on works, liaising with residents as required.

The successful candidate for the role of Area Surveyor in Oxfordshire should have the following experience:

  • Excellent Surveying experience with an in depth knowledge of diagnosing and rectifying building defects.
  • The ability to deliver specifications in writing.
  • Contractor management experience, acting as the Client.
  • Experience of the NHF schedule of rates.
  • Great communication skills when dealing with residents and customers in order to deliver successful projects on target.
