They are growing their team and need a strong Business Development Manager with experience selling into House builders in the Midlands to join their team.
Description
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with House builders and Merchants in the Midlands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with House builders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Provide input to the product development team based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Profile
- Experience selling Building Materials into House builders and Merchants
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
