Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking company, who are looking for a Contracts Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands.

Covering: The Midlands(Buckinghamshire, Cotswolds, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Birmingham, Nottingham and surrounding).

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing existing customer relationships.
  • Prospecting, building and developing new business.
  • Selling Kitchens into the contracts market.
  • Working closely with housing and high-rise developers within the private market.
  • Building strong business relationships.
  • Travelling to head office every 3-6 months for sales meetings.
  • Working closely with the design team to understand customer brief.
  • Full involvement with key members of the contracts department including; managers, customer care and the design team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven track record within field sales - selling kitchens into private developers.
  • Experience of dealing with Regional House Builders, Major Projects, House Building Contractors, High-Rise Developers or Housing Association.
  • Sales Account Management experience.
  • Ability to build and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Strong network and relationships within the contract market.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive for success.
  • Ability to demonstrate a tenacious and resilient mindset.
  • Be able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Must hold a valid and clean driving licence.
  • Flexible with business travel requirements.
