Area to be covered: Midlands and South Yorkshire

Ideally based near: Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham or Sheffield

Remuneration: £43,000 + £9,500-£13,250 Bonus

Benefits: Hybrid fully expensed car + full benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Windows & Doors will involve:

• Field sales role promoting a wide portfolio of uPVC, aluminium, timber and alu-clad windows and doors direct to trade customers
• Extensive range of brands fabricated into finished frames
• 70% of your time selling into window and door retail installers (with their own showrooms) circa 150 on patch
• Remainder of time selling into commercial installers (8-10 on area) and trade counter/ merchants (approx. 30 on patch)
• 50% account managing an area already achieving circa £3.8m
• 50% new business prospecting (area capable of achieving a minimum of £1.5m extra)
• Typical retail order would be for 30 frames per week at £450 per frame
• Customer visits will be a mixture of face to face and virtual (virtual team meeting every Friday)

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Windows & Doors will with:

• Must have sold windows and doors
• Ideally be able to bring some leads/ contacts
• A proven track record in field sales and new business development
• Open to a background of working within a builders merchant or window trade counter looking for first field sales position
• B2B construction industry experience, ideally the fenestration sector
• Hardworking, trustworthy and reliable
