Area Manager - £30600K - Plus car - Areas - South West England and South Wales

We are recruiting on behalf of a professional body representing a specialist sector.

The Association has over 750 corporate members and still growing.

The post is 'home’ based but with extensive travel in a defined area of South West England and South Wales

You will be visiting client’s sites advising them on the standards required to achieve certain accreditations.

Liaison with Police Accredited Assessors, Auditors, Owners and Managers. As this role is working with the police and enhanced DBS will be required.

Presentations to local conferences, seminars, workshops. Supporting the Regional/Country network of meetings as part of the 'Dream Team’ initiative

Assist with the resolution of complaints against customers associated with Operational Services.

Promoting the benefits and development of the pprofessional body.

To manage the day to day operation, auditing & administration of all associated business, in a defined geographical area of the UK to support the business to meet its strategic and operational objectives

We are seeking a person who is happy to travel to the locations shown in the advert, visiting clients on a weekly/daily basis. Good written, verbal communication, IT and presentation skills.

Good Customer Services, strong planning and organisational abilities.

An understandingofcompliance/auditingissuesgained in a similar environment

Benefits are as follows.

  • 35 Hours per week although some flexibility is expected. During probation working hours are 9am - 5pm with a 1-hour lunchbreak
  • 23 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays rising by one day for each full year, to a maximum of 28 days. This will be pro-rata for the first year
  • Finish work on Christmas Eve and return the day after New Year’s Day, none of your annual leave is taken.
  • Pension auto enrolment after 3 months. Contribution is 7%
