Konker is currently recruiting for an Architectural Technician to take the ‘Project Technical Lead’ role with a housing developer based on the outskirts of Taunton.
 
This company has been established for over 20 years and due to a busy production programme, they have a strong and busy period in the company soon arriving! They are looking to add an experienced Architectural Technician who will work for their already successful business!
 
Over the last couple of years, this housebuilder has won several awards and is known for their luxury and purpose-built homes across the South-West.
 
As the Architectural Technician (Project Technical Lead) you will be joining a technical team of 6. Overall, the company employs over 50 staff across their land, technical, customer care, marketing, and operations teams.
 
The Position: Architectural Technician (Project Technical Lead) 
  • Producing RIBA Stages 3&4 information
  • Redoing standard detail drawings to meet forthcoming future home standards
  • Coordination of consultant information
  • Prepare – finishes schedules, conveyance plans, building regulations and warranty provider information
  • Respond to technical queries
  • Liaise with different stakeholders
Their office is based just outside of Taunton with good public transport links and plenty of free on-site parking for all staff members.
 
The Candidate: Architectural Technician (Project Technical Lead)
  • Experience working as an Architectural Technician in the UK
  • Worked within the housing developer sector
  • Able to produce working drawings including technical details, and deal with day/day site/sales queries.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Xrefs, dynamic blocks
  • Working knowledge of RIBA Stage 3 & 4
The salary for this position ranges from £35,000 to £55,000 depending on previous experience along with a competitive benefits package.
