Konker is currently recruiting for an Architect to join a RIBA practice based in rural Somerset/Exmoor.  

Due to a variety of new projects coming into the practice, they are seeking an Architect who is confident working across all RIBA Stages to join them.

This practice of 6 has recently become employee-owned, giving you extra benefits as an employee within the business, including a tax-free bonus, subject to profit/personal performance.

They work on a wide variety of projects across Devon & Somerset including barn conversions, bespoke new builds, listed & historic buildings plus much more.

The Position: Architect
  • Working across all RIBA Stages
  • Using Vectorworks (Training Given)
  • Liaising with clients and different stakeholders
  • Project Management & Contract Administration
  • Helping other colleagues in the office
Salary for this position is between £35,000-£45,000 depending on previous experience.

To Be Considered:- Architect
  • Live within a commutable distance to Exmoor / Somerset
  • Drivers license & car owner
  • ARB Registered is essential
  • Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations & UK Planning System
  • Previous experience using Vectorworks is advantageous
