Approved Electrician required for a field-based role in the Bristol / South West area
  • £39,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday - 8am-5pm
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours worked per week x 1.5 hourly rate Monday - Friday, x 1.5 on Saturdays, x 2.0 for Sundays and Bank Holidays.
  • Company van provided
  • Immediate start is available
About the role
  • Work within a mobile team of electrical, mechanical and building operatives
  • The installation of electrical systems and associated equipment
  • Isolates defective equipment from power supply, checks visually for faults, tests mechanical parts for faults, isolates the problem areas and take corrective action to repair the problem.
  • The responsibility for allocated work orders from receipt to completion.
  • Developing of relationships with all clients and potential new customers
The right candidate
  • Full UK Manual driving licence
  • Qualified with C&G 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ, C&G 2382 -10 18th Edition and C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing
  • Experience of installation, testing and maintenance of LV distribution systems and standby power systems including prime movers and UPS
  • Understanding of A/C systems and controls
  • Excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with internal and external customers and suppliers on a regular basis
