Key Purpose:

Our client, a leading provider in the skills and training sector, is seeking an Apprenticeship Manager to join their dynamic team. The company is dedicated to impacting a better future by investing in best-in-class skills and training services. This role will be instrumental in leading all aspects of planning, mobilization, and delivery of Apprenticeship training programs. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the growth and quality ambitions of the organization are achieved.

Reason for Role:

We are seeking an innovative, high-quality, and ambitious individual to drive the design and delivery of adult education and apprenticeship programs. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of clear and ambitious pathways for learners, employers, and other service users.

Key Role and Daily Tasks:

  • Lead the design of adult education and apprenticeship programs for the Education Sector, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop learning and delivery materials for programs within the Adult and apprenticeship offer.
  • Manage safeguarding, prevent, and learner welfare.
  • Oversee health and safety operations to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to embed a customer and learner approach to training and service delivery.
  • Lead the operational management of the delivery of apprenticeship courses.
  • Liaise with partner organizations to develop and maintain project plans.
  • Review monthly data for courses to support performance management.
  • Support marketing strategies to drive course uptake.
  • Identify and manage operational risks associated with course delivery.
  • Manage changes to courses or their delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication with all personnel involved in the Education courses.
  • Manage the performance and motivation of team members, supporting their learning and development.
  • Ensure strong succession and development of talent within the team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum L5 Diploma in Education and training (or equivalent)
  • IQA qualification
  • Experience of studying at level 6 or above
  • Experience of designing and delivering adult vocational programs for the education sector
  • Experience of working under pressure to meet customer expectations
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Commitment to personal development and learning
  • Effective research skills
  • Relevant industry experience in the Education sector
  • Experience of studying at level 7

Additional / Special Features of the Role:

The ability to work within a regulated quality environment is essential. The successful candidate will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners. This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
