NJR Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a well established financial planning firm who is seeking a highly organised and personable Appointment Booker to join their team in Beverley. You will play a vital role in serving existing clients and driving new business by proactively scheduling qualified appointments with the Financial Advising team.

  • Shifts include 9am-5pm and 12pm-8pm and will be a mix of these during the week

Responsibilities will include:

  • Schedule Appointments: Work collaboratively with the Financial Advisers to schedule appointments that fit their availability and align with client needs.
  • Confirmation & Rescheduling: Confirm appointments with clients promptly and professionally, handling any rescheduling requests efficiently.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment calendars for the Financial Advisers, ensuring smooth scheduling and efficient use of their time.
  • Client Communication: Deliver outstanding customer service by answering phone calls and emails promptly, addressing client enquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Knowledge Development: Actively learn about the Clients services to effectively communicate with clients and manage their queries.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports as required to support the Appointment Booking function.

You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in appointment setting or a similar role (financial services experience a plus).
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Are highly organised and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Have a confident and professional phone manner, comfortable handling multiple calls simultaneously.
  • Possesses a strong aptitude for technology and thrives in environments with evolving systems.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine desire to learn and contribute to the team's success.
  • Possess a sound understanding of data protection principles (GDPR).
  • Are happy to start work earlier and finish later than a normal 9-5 day.
