About the Company
A reputable manufacturing company based in Wallingford is seeking an experienced AP Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your contributions will be valued.

Your new role
As an AP Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

  • Managing Supplier Accounts
  • Oversight of Staff Expenses
  • Managing Customs transactions
  • Handling Payments to Suppliers
  • Reconciliation of import VAT and HMRC Deferment Account
  • Providing support to the Assistant Finance Manager as needed

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally AAT Qualified but not essential
  • 3+ years experience working in an Accounts Payable position
  • High level of numeracy skills and a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enjoys working towards deadlines
  • Computer literate with good MS office skills
  • Intermediate Excel Skills

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of up to £29,000 with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. The role will be full-time in the office during the probationary period, with hybrid working in the future once probation is completed or sooner. Free onsite parking will be available.
