Windsor Forest College Group is looking for Animal Centre Weekend Technician to join the BCA team on a part time basis.

This is a fixed term role and we do have additional Sessional Animal Technician roles as well

Animal Centre Weekend Technician

An Animal Centre Weekend Technician is expected to maintain and upkeep the Animal Management Centre, ensuring high welfare standards of all the animals that fall under their responsibility and that the learners’ experience of the centre is positive and promotes high quality learning during weekends.

Key components of this role are providing daily husbandry including health checks and record keeping. It is also vital to ensure the supervision of students, both on an individual and small group basis, is learner focused, ensures academic excellence, and which reflects the principles of the personalised curriculum and contributes to the achievement of the College’s strategic and development plans. To meet this aim it is essential the post holder has good communication skills, a clear commitment to exceptional support to our learners and able to demonstrate high standards of animal welfare.
