Approved Mental Health Professional

Location: Isle of Wight

Salary: £50ltd per hour

Hours: Up to 37 hours per week (negotiable)

Duration: Initially 6 months

About the Company

This company is a leading provider of adult social care services on the stunning Isle of Wight. We are looking for a qualified and warranted Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join our incredible team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work flexibly between the in-hours and out-of-hours community mental health teams and provide the emergency Out of Hours Adult Social Care response. Our quality of service is paramount to support the person being assessed and reaching positive outcomes.

The model of working on the Isle of Wight will be to contribute to the 24-hour AMHP rota. Based from County Hall, Newport, Isle of Wight Council / St Mary's Hospital, Newport NHS Site.

It is VITAL that workers will be situated on the Isle of Wight to carry out their duties. It is NOT possible to commute on a 24-hour rota. We may be able to negotiate on days and availability though for the right candidates to enable part-time Island living and part-time mainland living if required.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social worker and warranted AMHP
  • Social Work England Registered
  • Must be based on the Isle of Wight
  • Must be a car driver
