Ambulance Vehicle Technician
  • Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday only
  • Pay: Circa £45k Depending on Experience and Qualifications - overtime available if wanted
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Ambulance Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a registered non-emergency patient transport service located in Ebbsfleet Valley.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Ambulance Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

The ideal Motor Trade Ambulance Vehicle Technician will be fully qualified and experienced within the Ambulance Vehicle Technician role.

Typical Duties as a Ambulance Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:
  • Perform repair and maintenance tasks on both emergency and non-emergency vehicles
  • Execute and assess preventive maintenance schedules
  • Address issues related to brake, engine, electrical, fuel, hydraulic, transmission, ignition, air suspension systems, exhaust, axle assemblies, and other related vehicle systems
  • Replace and repair tires on a range of vehicles
  • Report and record any unsafe practices or workplace hazards
  • Ensure prompt recording of all incidents
Ambulance Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic Requirements:
  • A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Dedicated and committed approach.
  • Your job as a Ambulance Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
  • Previous responsibility for the maintenance of a large, varied fleet
The salary of this Ambulance Vehicle Technician role is up to £45,000 basic.

Hours of work in this Ambulance Vehicle Technician role are 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday only.
