We are currently recruiting x2 Allocations Officers to join us on a permanent basis. We are looking for a customer focused individual to act as first point of contact for prospective tenants, guiding them through the lettings process and setting them up to have a successful tenancy. You will travel across the Bradford District to conduct property viewings, signups and termination visits.

Responsibilities

  • Offer support and ensure that Incommunities' duties as a landlord are fulfilled
  • Complete in-depth suitability checks, reviewing applications and matching properties to the most suitable tenant
  • Carry out viewings and tenancy signups across the district, completing all necessary paperwork
  • Complete pre and post tenancy inspections, identifying and raising any issues that may have arisen

About you

  • Have experience of dealing with members of the public both face to face and over the telephone, in particular, handling people who may be vulnerable and need support and guidance through the allocation process.  
  • Are committed to continuous professional development within timescales to be agreed with line manager, for example CIH Level 3.
  • Have excellent organisation skills and are able to prioritise your workload.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Able to priortise your own diary and adapt to change quickly

Requirements

  • To be able to interpret and apply legislation and Incommunities procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous allocations / lettings experience.
  • Driving licence with own vehicle as you will be expected to travel across the Bradford district daily
