Salary: £30,835.08

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit an Aircraft Technician on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Glasgow depot.

As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. An exciting opportunity to join a well-established contract providing class leading support to the UK Ministry of Defence. An interesting, dynamic and rewarding role utilising specialist skills whilst operating within a small team, albeit being part of a much bigger International organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance - To undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of the Babcock Aircraft fleet to ensure airworthiness is maintained to meet customer requirements daily.
  • Defects and Reports - Undertake as directed, the investigation, diagnosis and rectification of defects and submission of reports as required.
  • Documentation - To complete “all” documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures.
  • Aircraft/Equipment Documentation - Complete all aircraft and equipment maintenance documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures.
  • Flight-line Operations - Carry out Flight-line operations in accordance with company procedures.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Aircraft engineering experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
  • Driving Licence
