Air product and Ticketing executive

Air product and ticketing executive - Required for this global travel organisation, they are looking for an experienced galileo ticketer from a corporate background, homebased, salary around £35,000 plus great benefits.

Air product and Ticketing executives duties
-Ensure all fares are checked, priced and tickets issued accurately and efficiently within the GDS, mainly using galileo
- Calculate and apply correctly additional cost, taxes, and penalties when re-issuing tickets.
- Processing refunds via GDS or BSP
- Running the Fares Helpdesk service for their members, providing support and assistance with GDS entries and fare related queries via email and phone.
- Liaise with airlines and Travelport on behalf of colleagues and members to help resolve any issues where necessary.
-Checking BSP frequently and investigating any pending ADMs.
- Ensure fares are distributed swiftly and accurately to members across 3 GDS including Sabre, Amadeus, and Galileo.
- Continuously strive to improve operating standards and methods to meet and exceed the requirements of the business and any agreed targets.
- Assist the finance department and internal teams with BSP and ticketing related queries.

Air product and ticketing executives skills required
-Working with GDS, preferably using Galileo Smart point and Focal point daily.
- Understanding Fares constructions and manually building of fares.
-Having BA1 &2 is a bonus.
- Ticketing net, ITX and published fares
- Dealing with re-issues
- Solving flight/ticket related problems efficiently
- Working within a TMC environment in an operational capacity.
- You may be required to meet with airlines, attend trade events and become involve with the development of our Air Strategy. So, we'd preferably like you to come with Existing airline relationships.

-Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
-Based from home but based in reachable distance of London would be a bonus
