Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join our client who is a rapidly expanding company, who provide complete solutions for heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pump, and electrical needs. Their clients are all businesses such as schools, restaurants, hotels and offices.

We're looking for a skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer who can thrive independently or collaborate seamlessly within a team. The role offers diverse and fulfilling responsibilities, encompassing split AC, VRV, and commercial refrigeration.

This position is perfect for individuals seeking improved work-life balance with reduced travel (Sussex and surrounding areas only), only dealing with businesses and not the public and individuals who do not want to be micromanaged. There is opportunity for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities as an ACR Engineer

• Carrying out routine planned maintenance tasks.
• Diagnosing breakdown faults.
• Carrying out repair work.
• Completing daily paperwork.
• Giving advice to customers on equipment operation.
• Working to company procedures.
• Dealing with emergencies and unplanned breakdowns - inclusion in out of hours on call rota.
• Maintaining customer relationships.
• Assisting with small installations.

You will need to be F-Gas certified, have basic electrics and fault finding and hold a Level 2 NVQ refrigeration and Air conditioning to be considered for this role.

This role is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and traditional hours, any additional hours worked after 40 are paid at time and a half. You will get a company van, mobile phone, tablet to get job information on, work uniform and tools all included.
