Air-Conditioning Engineer - Birmingham

Our client is seeking an Air-Conditioning/HVAC Engineer to join their existing team of Engineers servicing commercial sites across the UK as part of their successful Facilities Management division.

The role will suit an experienced Engineer with a strong background in Air Conditioning work including Installation and Maintenance; with the salary on offer varying based on the experience and qualifications held by the successful applicant. Additional skills would be advantageous, and a predominant background with A/C Installations work would be most desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation work for Commercial and Retail clients
  • Service and Maintenance works for Commercial and Retail clients
  • Assisting with/leading scheduled PPM contract visits
  • Attending sites for urgent reactive works
  • Liaising with office staff to progress jobs in an effective and timely manner
  • Logging and submitting work reports electronically
  • Liaising with end-users and clients to provide updates
  • Ensuring high standards are always maintained and procedures adhered to

Candidate Specification:

Essential Requirements:

  • Air Conditioning Installations
  • F-GAS
  • Full, clean Driving Licence
  • 3+ years minimum experience in installs

Desirable Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in both Gas & Air Conditioning
  • PASMA Certification
  • IPAF Certification
  • Proficient with IT (work is issued, and reports filed electronically)
