Air Conditioning Engineer

An experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with at least 3 years of relevant experience is needed to join the team at this leading provider of air conditioning services based in Burton-On-Trent on a full-time basis. 

You should be technically competent and familiar with all types of air conditioning. Refrigeration experience would also be useful.

You will become involved with an extremely busy and exciting contractor and part of a growth story that should provide career growth and stimulation.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for installing air conditioning systems. You will also be responsible for effectively servicing, diagnosing, and repairing customers' systems, covering breakdowns and undertaking planned and responsive maintenance and repairs.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• F-Gas qualifications.
• Experienced in the installation and maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
• Delivering Customer Care and being focused on the support and needs of the client.
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Proficient technical knowledge in refrigeration and electrical principles.
• Experience in fault-finding on air conditioning, refrigeration & water chillers
• Good knowledge of industry standards.
• Great communication skills.

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• FGAS (required)
• NVQ 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (required)
