Agricultural & Groundcare Field Service Engineer

GBR Recruitment Ltd are proud to be working exclusively with a Agricultural & Groundcare Machinery business, recruiting for an experienced time served Field Service Engineer, to join their Field based Engineering teams covering Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex & Hampshire. Working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, no crazy long hours like most Field Engineering roles.

This is a fantastic varied role working on a variety of Agri & Groundcare machinery, plus attachments, that includes; Tractors, Telehandlers, Cultivators, Ride on Mowers & more, allowing you to fully utilise all your wider skills, with everyday offering new challenges. An ideal role for an Engineer that thrives in working on different types of machines / accessories etc.

Ideally you will reside in Surrey, West or East Sussex or Hampshire to allow you to successfully cover the Region for this Dealership.

Clients will include Farmers, Farming Businesses, Agronomists, Grounds Maintenance companies, Landscapers, Gardeners, Local Authorities / Councils, Sports Clubs, an array of Public & Private sector operations.

Duties:

• Maintenance, Repair & Breakdown Engineering on Agri / Grounds Maintenance Machinery
• Partial Rebuilds of Machinery, if a serious problem
• Fault finding / diagnostics
• Servicing works
• Client advice & technical support (mostly Mechanical, some Electrical)
• Field based Engineering works at clients sites & in the Workshop
• Logging all works carried out on internal systems via laptop / PDA
• Providing top level professional customer service at all times
• Advocate of the company, customer focused at all times
