Role Overview

Servicing of farming clients through the provision of cost-effective, practical and financial advice. Assisting in the growth and development of the Department.

Key Responsibilities

Direct responsibility for individual Farm & Estate Client relationships with work streams which include:
• Day to Day Management & Consultancy across a diverse range of agricultural businesses
• Budgeting and financial management of farm businesses assisted by an in-house accounts team
• Completion and management of Contract Farming/Share Farming and grazing agreements
• Completion of one off strategic business reviews
• Ad-hoc consultancy instructions

Key Skills

• Previous consultancy experience
• Sound practical agricultural experience
• Ideally 3 + years post-graduation
• Personable and presentable
• Good communicator
• Numerate
• IT literate
• Ideally HND, degree or equivalent level of qualification
• Desirable to have an interest in and knowledge of environmental schemes

Team Overview

You would be part of a small successful South West Scotland Food & Farming Team with support from a larger group of Savills consultants which are geographically spread around Scotland and North of England. The wider UK team also meets regularly to catch up on the latest research and share ideas.
