Connect2Hampshire is part owned by Hampshire County Council and are the internal agency for temporary workers at Hampshire County Council.
The Council provides a wide range of services such as local highways and public transport, community support including adult and children's social care, waste prevention and recycling, and education and learning.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Agency Talent Partner join us in our Basingstoke office on a part-time basis, 3 days a week (Monday-Wednesday) and 22.5 -25.5 hours per week on a temp to perm position. This role is ideally suited to someone who interested in developing their career within our Recruitment Team

About you:

Ideally, we're looking for someone who loves variation, and is an excellent communicator, demonstrates a positive proactive attitude. Your role will encompass areas such as resourcing, rostering, recruitment administration, planning and co-ordinating to name a few. This will suit you down to the ground as you will be organised and logical in your approach and like to keep lots of plates spinning rather than focus on one thing at a time.

This role of Agency Talent Partner can be both proactive and reactive, but you'll be calm in pressured situations (such as a last-minute change to rota's) and able to problem solve. It's also imperative that you have an understanding of Microsoft excel & Recruitment CRM's as this will be pivotal to your workload.

You will have support in the department in order to deliver on your objectives. A full induction course and 'shadow' training will be provided to successful candidates.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build rapport and develop relationships with Hampshire County Council's Hiring community, by taking the time to get to know them and understand their vision, both over the telephone and in person
  • Liaise with the hiring managers about their recruitment needs, discussing challenges the job may bring, detailed job descriptions and any further information that may help with the recruitment. Manage hiring manager expectations by flagging potential issues with their recruitment and working with them to find a resolution.
  • Resource for candidates to meet the needs of Hampshire County Council; including advertising, search and selection, on boarding and initial quality checks.
  • Submit CVs and/or release to the compliant external agency supply chain within the agreed response times and key performance indicators. In the case of shift based requirements, confirm previously vetted agency worker to the vacancy.

Key Requirements:

  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages
  • Use of a Recruitment CRM system including advert management, searches, vacancy management recording and placement recording
  • Adapts communication style to the audience and the circumstance, and able to influence at a senior level
  • Organised and prioritises work to deliver against multiple activities
  • Problem solving both internally and for our customers
  • Handling difficult conversations with tact and integrity
  • Financial acumen and ability to monitor performance through financial and KPI reporting
