Reed Education are currently supporting a lovely primary school in DN17 with recruiting an Afterschool Club Supervisor. The school run an after-school club for those children who need late pick ups. You would be expected to work with children from EYFS through to Year 6 and to set expectations and manage behaviour alongside the school's behaviour policy. Children will have access to different activities and will be able to complete homework there.

The role would begin on the 26th of February and will be ongoing. There will be an opportunity to be made permanent for the right candidate.

Hours of work are 14:45 until 18:00, Monday to Friday.

The school is one-form entry and class sizes are average. The school is run by a fantastic senior leadership team and the staff turnover is extremeley low.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Early Years Education or Teaching Assistant qualification (mandatory)
  • Recent experience of working in schools
  • A clear, enhanced DBS on the update service (can apply for a new one through Reed Education)
  • Good communication skills
