Our Client, Salford Council, is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

This is a part time role!

Responsibilities of this role:

  • To screen referrals, move cases through the system to the most appropriate team or person in the organisation and provide oversight and professional support to providers and partner agency colleagues.
  • To work within the framework provided by statute, guidance, policies and procedures.
  • To undertake safeguarding investigations and attend strategy meetings and MDT meetings to progress enquiries as necessary.
  • Must be autonomous worker with sound knowledge of Care Act 2014 and all relevant legislation relating to adults with care or support needs.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Must have a clean enhanced DBS.
